Adding a user (useradd)

This recipe shows how to add a new user login to your Raspberry Pi.

Creating separate logins for different users (or for different purposes) helps improve the security of the Raspberry Pi and organize the use of the Raspberry Pi's filesystem by giving each user a home directory in which they can organize their files.

After completing this recipe, you will be able to add a new user to the Raspberry Pi.
