If you need insight beyond what is provided by these tools, there is one more option. RavenDB uses NLog to write detailed information about what it is up to. NLog is an open source logging framework for .NET with multiple output targets ranging from simple files to queues and databases.
To enable NLog debug logging, simply place a file named
