Slider

Sliders are common UI components found on the Web. In this section, you will see how easy it is to create one in your React Native applications.

While Slider has access to at least nine different props, we will use just the following:

  • maximumValue: This is a number that sets the starting maximum value of the Slider. It defaults to 1.
  • minimumValue: This is a number that sets the starting minimum value of the Slider. It defaults to 0.
  • onSlidingComplete: This is a callback that is fired when the user finishes interacting with the Slider.
  • onValueChange: This is a callback that is fired continuously as the user is dragging the Slider.
