Chapter 7. Importing and Exporting

Someday you’ll need to do something that’s beyond the drawing and typesetting capabilities of InDesign. You’ll need to edit large amounts of text, adjust bitmap images, render 3-D objects, or create Web pages. Other applications do these things better than InDesign does. But you can add the files you create in other applications to your InDesign publication. And you can export InDesign pages for use in other page-layout and drawing programs.
