The XMLDOMNamedNodeMap Object

The Microsoft XML DOM also supports an XMLDOMNamedNodeMap object, which provides support for namespaces. Here is the base set of properties for this object:

• item— Allows random access to nodes in the collection. Read-only.

• length— Specifies the number of items in the collection. Read-only.

Here is the base set of methods for this object:

• getNamedItem— Gets the attribute with the given name

• getQualifiedItem*— Gets the attribute with the given namespace and attribute name

• nextNode— Gets the next node

• removeNamedItem— Removes an attribute

• removeQualifiedItem— Removes the attribute with the given namespace and attribute name

• reset— Resets the list iterator

• setNamedItem— Adds the given node

This object has no events.
