In Chapter 11 we looked at how FX plug-ins can be applied to your audio tracks and media items. In this chapter you’ll see how plug-ins can also be applied to your MIDI items. Some of the issues covered in this chapter are essentially the same or very similar to some of those covered in Chapter 11. I’m assuming that by now you will already understand these.
There are two kinds of plug-ins that you can use when working with your MIDI tracks—MIDI plug-ins and, in many cases, audio plug-ins.
Before proceeding, make sure that you are comfortable with these very basic MIDI-related activities.
