You hate getting up
Research has shown that pressing the snooze button doesn’t actually make you less tired. An extra ten minutes – even an extra hour – doesn’t refresh you. By getting up when you wake up, you reclaim time – and that is energising. Incapable of getting up? Instead of pressing the snooze button, try stretching. Think of a cat. Many animals have a good stretch before they rise to get their muscles stretched and warmed up and get oxygen into their blood stream. It will work for you too.
