4. Stand tall, breathe deep
It takes five times as much energy to slouch as it does to stand straight. If you aren’t standing properly, your body has to work harder.
The very simplest step for boosting energy is to ensure your posture is tiptop. This ensures you are breathing well, which means oxygenation of the tissues is maximised.
But there’s more to it than that – the effects of standing tall have a profoundly energising effect on our psyche.
