ATTRACTING AND RETAINING TOP TALENT: DON’T SETTLE FOR SECOND BEST

WE TEND TO THINK OF OPERATIONAL EXCELLENCE in terms of production lines and logistics. We rarely think about how it pertains to people and leadership. That’s why attracting and retaining top talent is one of the four core components of my redefinition of operational excellence.

I place it first in my list of the four components because it is what an organization must do if it is to innovate and collaborate, align strategy and tactics, and acquire and keep the customers it wants.
