GETTING TECHNOLOGY OUT OF YOUR WAY
MANY ORGANIZATIONS VIEW TECHNOLOGY as the solution to all their problems. When they find problems in their operations, they sometimes seek, select, and implement a technology system that they think will make those problems go away. Technology companies fuel this course of action by touting all the great things their systems can accomplish. But organizations often forget one important point: Technology can’t fix a bad process.
