Addressing traditional school-based bullying more effectively

Abstract

Interventions to address traditional forms of bullying in schools include proactive strategies designed to prevent bullying from occurring as well as reactive strategies designed to stop cases of bullying from continuing. These two strategies are seen as complementary. This chapter critically examines a range of methods of intervention.
