To complete the exercises in this chapter, you will need a Microsoft Excel add-in called Analysis ToolPak. The add-in, which is provided with the software, is not installed automatically. To check if you have it installed, open the Data tab in Excel. Analysis ToolPak should be at the far right-hand end of the ribbon. If it is not installed, follow the instructions provided with your specific version of Excel software. Press the “F1” key to activate the “help” screen in Excel.
