CHAPTER 2: WHERE DID MY JOB GO?
It was a bright and fresh Monday morning, my first day on the new job. I’d shown up early, ready to kick butt and take names. It was a clean start and I was excited at the prospect of showing them how a real pro works. To me, this release manager role was just a, “foot in the door” type of position. I didn’t expect to be in it for more than a year, so my primary focus was going to be on where I wanted to go next and not on solving their trivial problems.
