Introduction
I am a “manufacturing guy” at heart. I have worn out at least a hundred
pairs of work boots in my career. My Dad and my brother are “manufac-
turing guys.” My grandfathers, my uncles, and a lot of my cousins…they
are “manufacturing guys.” My manufacturing career started the week aer
high school when I walked into a factory to start work. What a world…screw
guns, impact wrenches, spray guns, staplers, hammers, chisels, wrenches,
crimpers, cutters, brushes, mixers, sandpaper, sanders, utility knives…
and people, which was the best part. I have now been associated with fac-
