Maybe Not Lean, But Lean Things
During my second tour in the U.S. Army was where I really gained an
understanding of the passion thing. e urge to be a plant manager never le
me. My fellow ocers were so passionate about being soldiers. ey would
stay up at night and study FM 7-6 infantry operations or MOUT (military
operations in urban terrain). I stayed up late and studied business and man-
ufacturing. I loved the Army, especially the life of being a soldier. e oppor-
