Purchasing was blaming the plants for not managing their schedules. A lot
of ugly and negative energy was in the air over this situation.
CSC sent their team in and we had an initial meeting. ey were all
British—with the accents and all. I really hit it o with these guys. ey
were sharp, shared my passion for manufacturing, and liked to drink beer
aer work. I have always enjoyed working with the British. We would be
home-basing the project out of the Calhoun nal assembly plant. I would
be ying out on Sunday aernoons and returning on Friday evenings. I
was totally excited about being on this project.
