Inductive influence of high-voltage and extra-high voltage lines on surrounding metal installations
Abstract
The presented methodology enables the determination of the inductive influence of high-voltage (HV) or extra-high voltage (EHV) lines on nearby metal installation in urban surroundings, where many relevant data, as well known, are uncertain, or completely unknown. The problem appears as a consequence of the fact that many surrounding metal installations are situated underground and cannot be visually determined or verified. This methodology enables compensation of deficiency of all relevant, but unknown data and determining the resulting screening factor involving the screening effects of all, known and unknown, surrounding metal installations. ...
