Abstract
The scarcity of fossil fuels and the pollution generated by their combustion have become major global issues. A renewable resource with the potential to replace fossil fuels, biomass is a renewable energy source. Bio-methanol is a valuable biomass product that can be utilized to create electricity and power for portable devices. The possibility of bio-methanol as a sustainable material is discussed in this chapter. It also goes through the many forms of biomass that may be generated from waste items, as well as the numerous bio-methanol production technologies that have been created. It also examines the existing issues with bio-methanol production and the technological advancements that will be required to meet future energy demands. Several innovative technologies for improving methanol production have ...
