We also discussed the importance of having both kinds of leaders in your IT department. Sometimes these traits are found in one person, but often people will have greater strength in one dimension or the other. In this chapter, we will look at assessing the strengths of your IT leadership team to ensure you have the skills and traits you’ll need not only to undertake a successful renovation project, but to lead your IT function in the future as healthcare and healthcare technology continue to evolve rapidly.
