ABSTRACT: Twelve square concrete-filled steel tubes (CFSTs) of three different section sizes are subjected
to axial compression. The lengths of each section size tested are 1.0 m, 1.5 m, 2.0 m and 2.5 m. These lengths
provide a range of columns, from relatively short to slender composite columns. The compressive resistance of
