In an ideal world, you’ve already got a healthy, high-functioning team. A team that’s in that Performing stage of group development. A team that’s shipping, is highly motivated, and collaborates and disagrees productively.

What’s more likely, though, is that your team isn’t quite there yet. There might be some friction (the Storming stage) or too much newness and independent operation (the Forming stage).
