Dr Ajith P was a Fellow of MDI, Gurgaon and a life member of All India Management Association. Before entering academics, he worked for fifteen years in industry. He started his professional career in 1995 with Lupin Ltd. and was also associated with Sanofi India Ltd., Cadila Healthcare Ltd (CHL) and BPL Medical. During his industry tenure, he worked in urban and rural contexts. His fields of special interest included Services Marketing, Sales and Distribution Management, Rural Marketing, Consumer Behavior, Retail Management, CRM, and Healthcare Marketing. He published articles in peer-reviewed journals and presented them in various national and international conferences.
