Introducing touch gestures to user experience

Touchscreen devices are ruling the mobile platform nowadays. Most of the smartphones and tablets have many elements using touch gestures and now it's coming to our desktop development. In his article Optimizing for Touch Across Devices, Luke Wroblewski says:
