Introduction

The conundrum of crisis management for startups is an ocean. During the process of writing this book, we came across several experts challenging us on how we could create an exhaustive framework for startups wanting to deal with a crisis. We weren't trying to do that at all. Our objective was not to provide a framework that could be both broad and deep. Every business situation is different and often warrants creative solutions. Our objective was to help you think in most of these challenging situations.

If you are just starting up, we believe this book is a great way to look at different aspects of keeping your firm as recession resilient as possible. Nobody can predict market shifts that a crisis can create, but we can definitely prepare ourselves with a set of tools and techniques to deal with these tectonic movements in a nimble yet decisive manner.

We did not plan on covering the depths of identifying product market fit for every industry use case possible. We did not plan on covering all the mental health management modalities. Neither did we plan on covering every single business model out there or distribution channels that startups can tap into.
