I opened Part 2 by saying that– “Talent decisions help us get ’somewhere’.” We make talent decisions because we want to journey towards an outcome. The “somewhere” is the “why.” I want to remind you that we must reflect on the “why” of talent decisions. We benefit from knowing and predefining our desired outcomes – what do we seek to achieve? Knowing where we want to go helps ensure we stay the course. Our destination – the desired outcomes – acts as our map.
