Defining a stakeholder
Managers are well aware of the importance of the various types of stakeholders and the different interests they represent. There is plenty of information freely available on the Internet for anyone who needs to find out more. In this chapter, we make only a few general observations and then focus on how stakeholder engagement (and stakeholder management) impacts both the procurement of third-party goods and services, and also questions around integration.
