An ERA is a very systematic and very scientifically intensive analysis. In this chapter, an abbreviated example was presented that provides a flavor of the types of analyses that are performed as a part of an ERA. Experienced ERA analysts should be employed to perform such an analysis to ensure every aspect of the ERA is performed appropriately.
