Basic eye care for librarians
Abstract
Librarians rely on their eyes more than any other sense organ. Eye health can be maintained through measures including healthy lifestyles, regular eye examinations by qualified professionals, appropriate corrective lenses, good hygiene, first aid in the event of injuries, the magnification of small print, good lighting, proper workstation ergonomics, relaxation, and eye exercises.
