Other Stuff
There are several other useful features of your Mac that don’t fall into the applications or utilities category.
Battery
If you’re using a laptop, the Battery icon will appear in the upper-right of your menu bar to show you either how much time in hours and minutes you have left, or what percentage of your battery is left. If you don’t have the battery icon in the menu bar, go to the Energy Saver preferences and check the box to turn it on.
