The past two decades have seen a significant shift in what counts as literacies research and where such literacies are found, enacted, engaged. Primarily rising as a field alongside mainstream use of the Internet (Lankshear & Knobel, 2008), digital literacy has come to signal a widespread set of interdisciplinary, social, scholarly, and business-related practices.
