Appendix E. Xen Performance Evaluation

The Clarkson University group has long been dedicated to Xen research. When Xen was first released, the Clarkson group carried out a repeated research effort on Xen to compare and validate Xen’s performance. This repeated research helped provide credibility to the Xen project and helped the project gain recognition in both academia and industry. The group later focused on virtualization’s isolation properties, when they compared the performance isolation properties of Xen with other virtualization systems.
