Chapter 7. Working with Vector Paths
Fireworks is particularly well suited for working interchangeably with bitmaps and vector paths. Vector paths are derived from calculus, but they are a really useful way to present visual information derived from mathematical functions, or algorithms, instead of using bitmaps or databases for the display. Because of this, vector graphics have many interesting properties. Vector lines and shapes can be resized again and again without a loss of quality.
