Examining the CheckBoxList Web Control

While reading the “Using the RadioButtonList Web Control” section, you probably noticed the similarities between the RadioButtonList and the DropDownList Web controls. Each displayed a list of items specified by some DataSource. The DropDownList displayed each item as an option in a drop-down list; the RadioButtonList displayed its items as a series of radio buttons. The list items for both controls had two properties—Text and Value—and these values are bound to database data via the DropDownList and RadioButtonList's DataTextField and DataValueField properties.
