LESSON 9. Goals

In this lesson, you learn how to use Mint.com’s Goals tool to create financial goals for big purchases (such as a home or car), trips, and funds (such as retirement or college). You learn how to create, edit, delete, and monitor goals, both custom and those already configured by Mint.com.

Setting Financial Goals

Mint.com is not only able to help you monitor your spending habits using the Budgets tool (see Lesson 8, “Budgets”), but it can also help you develop savings habits. You can open and link to a savings account, but any money found in a savings account is simply added to the Cash total on the Overview page.
