Introducing Objective-C
Objective-C was developed in the early 1980s by Brad Cox and Tom Love. It was licensed by Steve Jobs’s company, NeXT in 1988, where it was used to develop the first two key frameworks of the NeXTSTEP operating system—Application and Foundation Kits. When Apple purchased NeXT in 1996, the projects moved to Cupertino, CA.
