Understanding Stars
Spotify has a lot of stars—and we’re not just talking famous performers. Your favorite music can also be “starred,” so that Spotify knows what you like.
When you “star” a track, Spotify recognizes it as one of your favorites. It then organizes all your starred tracks in one location, so you can quickly and easily view and play your favorite music.

You can star both individual tracks and complete albums.
Starring Your Favorite Music
