Hour 4, “HTML5 and jQuery UI Library for Google TV,” focused on the jQuery Google TV UI Library. That library used jQuery to provide a set of user interface components that are optimized for Google TV. Closure is another library that uses JavaScript to support Google TV. If you are not already using jQuery, Closure is a very good alternative. In this hour, we’ll consider the design considerations that went into Closure, create a simple HTML page using Closure, and dive into the TV components that are supported by Closure.
