I use a couple of learning platforms, but I'm on O'Reilly more than anybody else. When you're there, you start learning. I'm never disappointed.I'm always learning. So when I got on to O'Reilly, I was like a kid in a candy store. There are playlists. There are answers. There's on-demand training. It's worth its weight in gold, in terms of what it allows me to do.

If you need to change the cache mode of a VDisk, follow this procedure: 1. Convert the VDisk to an image mode VDisk. See Example 8- 12. Example 8- 12 Migrate to an image mode VDisk IBM_ 2145: ITSOCL1: admin> svctask migratetoimage - vdisk VDISK- Image - threads 4 - mdisk mdisk1 - mdiskgrp MDG- 1 2. Stop I/ O to the VDisk. 3. Unmap the VDisk from the host. 4. Run the svcinfo lsmdisk command to check your unmanaged MDisks. 5. Remove the VDisk, which makes the MDisk on which it is created become unmanaged. See Example ...
