Scheduling a Document
If you have slow-running queries or reports that you wish to refresh on a regular basis, you can schedule them. The scheduling features are available through BI Launch Pad and for all SAP BusinessObjects Enterprise document types (Crystal Reports and Web Intelligence).
Scheduling a document creates an instance of the document that is a snapshot or a version of the document with saved data. This feature can be particularly useful if you need to track data over time. For example, you might want a monthly snapshot of financial data or a report when it is submitted to a regulatory agency.
