The Security Editor
Security you set within the CMC gives basic access to a universe. The Security Editor within the IDT allows you to assign additional levels of security to business layer views and objects, rows within the tables, and various SQL parameters. You can specify these settings either by user or groups of users, and either at the data foundation level or business layer level.
NOTE Changes within the Security Editor are not real time. If a particular user is added once you have launched the Security Editor, you will see the new user only if you refresh your view.
