Universe Integrity
As you have built the data foundation and business layer, you have done a number of integrity checks. In modifying the SQL of individual objects, you have validated each one (clicking the Validate button ensures that you have entered the SQL correctly). In building joins, you have detected cardinalities and loops to create contexts and aliases, and you may have checked the integrity of the joins in completing these steps.
The overall universe integrity check then becomes a final chance to catch anything you may have missed in earlier stages.
