CHAPTER 5Configuration

The process of configuration is at the heart of any SAP implementation. In itself, the process is relatively straightforward but requires a lot of experience if the implementation is complex. Often, a very small setting in Configuration can make a huge difference to the way a process works. Sometimes, you will tear your hair out trying to work out why something does not function in the way you anticipated. To help solve some of these issues, take a look at the “Inside the Project Builder” section in Chapter 6, where transaction codes for configuration are referenced for your convenience.
