Working with many new SAS administrators, I realized that understanding how external data can be created and accessed from within SAS metadata, doesn’t seem to be that easy. For that reason, I would like to start out by going away of how to create libraries in SAS metadata, and I would like to talk more generally about how to create libraries in SAS Foundation or SAS Enterprise Guide for a moment.
