Section I: Reading
In the Reading section of the SAT, you have 65 minutes to read four single passages and one pair of passages. You answer 52 questions based on what is stated or implied in the passages and the accompanying graphs, charts, diagrams, or other visual elements. Single passages range from 500 to 750 words; the total number of words in the paired passage set is also 500 to 750 words.
The answers and explanations for the questions in this practice test are in Chapter 7. Go through the explanations to all the questions, even if you answered the question correctly. The explanations are a good review of the reading-comprehension techniques you need for the SAT and also may help you improve your vocabulary skills.
