In this chapter, you learned that Fugue and Ludwig are powerful tools for building distributed component application architectures in the cloud. You examined how and why information such as session state and user uploads should be saved to purpose-built services that are optimized for durability, availability, and performance. Rather than build these services from scratch, you learned how to define and configure AWS-provided services such as S3, Lambda, and DynamoDB, using Ludwig and Fugue to update your composition.
