Reviewing the Fugue System Library Path

You’ve been working with Ludwig throughout the first part of the book, practicing with it in Fugue compositions and watching Refuge example infrastructure spin up as declared. You’ve experienced its error system and compilation. You’ve defined records to build out cloud infrastructure. This chapter will go deeper and show you how to build your own abstractions, to use yourself and to share with others. Before we dive in, let’s look at the /opt/fugue/lib/ directory (which is part of the Linux or Mac OS package you downloaded back in Chapter 1, Simple Themes and First Steps) to see how we’ve designed Ludwig at Fugue to build up the abstractions you’ve already been using.
