The concepts we’ve examined—version control, service catalogs, and continuous integration—are not associated with any one tool set. The examples so far have used GitHub and Travis, which are uncommon in traditional enterprise settings (though they’re gaining ground). Nevertheless, they translate neatly to any other system.
