LCH Editor

The LCH Editor performs image corrections according to the concept of the LCH color model. Here you can adjust colors separately through their components: Lightness (Luminance), color saturation (Chroma), and color tone (Hue). The LCH Editor gives the photographer a powerful tool for optimizing images. In Nikon Scan, the LCH Editor is functional only if Nikon color management is enabled. Otherwise, the LCH Editor options are grayed out and cannot be used.


This option allows adjustments to the brightness of the entire image. Colors are affected only indirectly; a very bright image automatically looks paler.
