Saving Configurations

Coming up with optimized combinations of various configurations for different purposes can be extremely time-consuming. Therefore, it is very useful to be able to save settings at different levels so that you do not have to repeat those settings before each scan. If you know the different ways of saving settings and apply them appropriately, you can save time and avoid tedious, repetitive tasks in the future. Especially for scanning in batch mode, this knowledge is quite helpful.

The Settings Menu

The Settings menu allows you to save and delete configurations. Some of the settings are:

  • Scanner model

  • Media type: color negative, black and white negative, slide

  • Crop

  • All options in the tool chest
