13 PREVIZ

Previz or Pre-Visualization refers to the use of a simulated three-dimensional environment to review screens content in a computer generated scenic state. Employed for lighting visualization since the 1990s, PreVisualization of the screens content in a virtual environment is a powerful tool and used prior to on-site production rehearsal it will save significant money and time. In this chapter, we review some of the many ways Previz can be used in video content pre-production.
